The US economy grew 4.9% over the last quarter. Why?

July to September saw a mini-boom in the US. The economy expanded at a rate of nearly 5% over the previous year. It’s the fastest growth since 2021 and more than double the 2.1% growth rate in April-June. Experts say several interlocking factors are behind the rise. A strong job market and higher consumer spending as well as an uptick in home building and remodelling, exports, and government spending.
