Are you vegetarian? Scientists say it may be in your genes

Some people may be genetically better suited to vegetarianism. That’s the findings of a new study, which compared 5,000 strict vegetarians with 300,000 people who eat meat. Scientists found 3 genes strongly associated with vegetarianism and another 31 that may have some link. Some of the genes govern brain function and how we break down fats. This means that our ability to thrive without meat could be down to how we metabolise our food.
