A new wind farm will power 600,000 homes in New York

The US government just approved the Sunrise Wind facility. It will stand in the North Atlantic Ocean, 48km east of Long Island, New York and will have a capacity of 924 megawatts. It's set to create 800 direct jobs, thousands of indirect jobs and bring New York one step closer to its ambitious climate targets.
