It is imperative that the public and private sectors balance and prioritize the limited resources available to address cybersecurity challenges. Too often, cultural and financial pressures encourage devaluing investments in cybersecurity. Before those pressures can change, the public and private sectors must better understand the tensions that make it difficult to fully embrace cybersecurity best practices, as well as the obstacles to effective collaboration.
