Circular Economy

Listen to the article

Heavy industry is the second-largest source of CO2 emissions, accounting for 27% of CO2 emissions worldwide. This ‘Accelerator’ session hosted by the World Economic Forum’s Circular Economy for Net-Zero Industry Transition Initiative is part of the official programme for the World Circular Economy Forum 2021, a 3-day virtual event that explores how the world can become more circular.

This session will showcase progress on innovative circular economy solutions for heavy industry sectors, including the built environment and transportation. It will tackle key questions for heavy industry, such as: ‘Which game-changing circular economy solutions can industry leaders unlock to reduce emissions?’ and ‘What will it take to implement these solutions at scale?’

Listen to top leaders discuss this and more in a public livestreamed session.

Tune in to watch on 15 September 2021 at 10:30-11:30 CEST.
