Akshay Joshi

Head of Industry and Partnerships, Centre for Cybersecurity, World Economic Forum

Akshay Joshi is the Head of Industry and Partnerships for the World Economic Forum’s Centre for Cybersecurity. He has over two decades of experience in a range of operational management roles in various sectors including public relations and shipping. Akshay joined the Forum as a Global Leadership Fellow and led the engagement with private sector organisations based in the South Asia, before taking on operational leadership of the Centre for Cybersecurity upon its launch in 2018. In his present role, Akshay is responsible for driving collaborative action across industry ecosystems to strengthen cyber resilience, and for developing key partnerships for the Centre.

Akshay holds an Executive Master in Global Leadership from the World Economic Forum, an MBA from the University of Manchester and a Bachelor from the University of Mumbai.
