Gillian Davidson is the sustainability and ESG advisor to the CEO of Eurasian Resources Group. She has over 25 years experience in sustainability, ESG and responsible supply chains with extensive experience in the extractives and natural resources sectors. She is the current chair of the Board of the Global Battery Alliance, a multi stakeholder initiative, and chair of International Women in Mining.

Previously, Gillian was the Head of Mining & Metals at the World Economic Forum leading global and regional initiatives for responsible and sustainable development and was Head of Social Responsibility at Teck Resources. She has also held senior roles in government, academia and consulting. She holds a PhD in Development Economics and Geography.

Gillian is also a non executive director in the mining sector and chairs the sustainability committee for each board. She supports Regeneration as Chief Sustainability Officer, a social enterprise start up focused on remining. She is co-chair of the WEFs Global Futures Council on Responsible Resource Use and an alumni of the Governor General of Canada’s Leadership Congress.
