Naoko Ohno is an Operations Officer for the World Bank’s Health Nutrition and Population (HNP) Global Practice, South Asia Region, where she has worked since 2010. She is currently working on preparation and implementation of HNP projects in Pakistan and India. Prior to her current position, Naoko worked in the Bank’s East Asia and Pacific Region (EAP), contributing to HNP analytical work, particularly for Pacific Island Countries and Timor-Leste. A native of Japan, she has five years of experience working at the Japan Bank for International Cooperation, where she worked for basic infrastructure projects in China and Korea. She holds a Masters of Health Science (Health System Management) from the Bloomberg School of Public Health, Johns Hopkins University.
