Peter Schniering is founder of Future Cleantech Architects (FCA) and Managing Director of a German industrial SME. He has been working on cleantech innovation ever since completing a PhD on Climate Policy and Technology at Bonn University. He served as consultant to both the UNFCCC Secretariat in Bonn and the International Energy Agency in Paris. Upon completing the renowned Carlo-Schmid-Fellowship Program, Dr. Schniering joined Roland Berger Strategy Consultants, developing various energy infrastructure and renewables projects. He teaches at Bonn University and serves as Advisory Board Member to the World Economic Forum's Sustainable Energy Innovation Panel and expert panel member of the Solar Impulse Foundation. As a member of the SEIF Evaluation Board, he contributes to building up one of the most ambitious and effective investment funds specialized in high-impact cleantech ideas.
