JJ Enoch

Global Shaper, Abuja Hub

JJ is an Associate at J.S. Held. Nigerian-born, he possesses an in-depth understanding of geopolitics, focusing on Africa-US, Africa-Asia, and Africa-Middle East relations. JJ supports the team's work across the continent, with specialism on anglophone West Africa.

Before joining AML, JJ interned at Eurasia Group. He also worked at the West Africa Civil Society Institute in Accra, Ghana, supporting policy-influencing initiatives across all fifteen West African countries. Additionally, he worked at the Aig-Imoukhuede Foundation, where he helped build Nigeria's first-ever index that evaluates the performance of public institutions.

JJ holds an MSc in African Studies from the University of Oxford, where he was a scholar at St. Antony's College. He is also a qualified lawyer and holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from Bowen University, Nigeria.
