Anne-Katrin Pfister is a seasoned trade and investment policy expert leading the World Economic Forum’s work on the digital economy in Southeast Asia. She has extensive experience conceptualizing and managing complex, multimillion-dollar initiatives and advising governments at the highest levels on trade, investment, and sustainable development.
Before joining the Forum, Anne-Katrin worked at the World Bank, the International Finance Corporation (IFC), and several United Nations agencies, advising governments across the East Asia and Pacific region. Based in Washington, DC, Geneva, and Lao PDR, her work focused on regulatory reform, investment facilitation, and the integration of sustainability considerations into trade and investment policy.
