Anne-Katrin Pfister is a seasoned trade and investment policy expert leading the World Economic Forum’s work on the digital economy in Southeast Asia. She has extensive experience conceptualizing and managing complex, multimillion-dollar initiatives and advising governments at the highest level.

Prior to joining the Forum, Anne-Katrin worked at the World Bank, the International Finance Corporation (IFC), and the United Nations. Based in Washington DC, Geneva, and Southeast Asia, her work focused on regulatory reform, private sector development, digital transformation, investment facilitation, and the integration of sustainability considerations into trade and investment policy.
