Edmond Fernandes

Founder, CHD Group

Dr Edmond Fernandes is a World Economic Forum Young Global Leader and Consultant in Preventive Medicine and Family Health. He is the Founder of CHD Group, an Indian public health agency holding UNECOSOC Special Consultative Status. He also serves as Honorary Director of the Edward and Cynthia Institute of Public Health at Mangalore. He is also a PhD Supervisor and Assistant Professor at Yenepoya Deemed to be University and Consultant at Yenepoya Specialty Hospital.
Dr. Edmond has curated the Dr Fernandes Health, Nutrition and Wellness Program that is managed by the Dr Fernandes Clinic which supports preventive health, lifestyle control, disease reversal and longevity.
Dr Fernandes has authored five books, published over 25 peer-reviewed research papers, and written more than 250 media articles. His work has impacted over six million lives till date.
Dr Fernandes was associated with the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (Bangkok) as Consultant, he served the Atlantic Council, Washington DC as Senior Fellow and is a US Department of State alumni. Dr Fernandes was also a visiting scholar to Drexel University, USA.
