Joined Vale in 2006, serving in Strategic Planning, Corporate Finance, and Global Treasury. From July 2018 to June 2023, he was a member of the Senior Leadership team at Vale Base Metals in Toronto, first as CFO and Head of Business Development, then as Global Head of Sales and Marketing. In July 2023, he became Head of Strategy and Marketing for Iron Ore, based in Singapore, and as of March 2025, he also leads the Global Ferrous Technology Center and New Ventures, based in Rio de Janeiro. Juan holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from PUC-MG, a postgraduate degree in Finance from FGV, and an MBA in Finance from IBMEC.
