Luis Antonio Ramírez García is a climate activist, urban policy practitioner and public policy specialist from Mexico. He is the founder of Sin Planeta B, a civil society organization dedicated to climate education and sustainable development for children and youth across Latin America.
He is a Specialist in Innovation and Leadership in Government at Georgetown University, holds a Master’s degree in Environment, Development and Public Policy from the University of Sussex and earned a Bachelor’s degree in International Business from Tecnológico de Monterrey.
Luis Antonio’s efforts in advancing climate education and youth empowerment have been recognized by the State Congress of Jalisco and by Forbes, which named him one of the young leaders transforming climate education in Mexico. In 2020, he represented the Global Shapers community at the World Economic Forum in Davos, where he advocated for climate justice and inclusive urban development.
He has contributed to international platforms, including Forbes México and the World Economic Forum, and his legislative advocacy has helped inspire regional policy efforts throughout Latin America. His work has also been cited by institutions such as Columbia University’s Earth Institute.
