Matthew Watkins is a medical doctor with 15 years’ experience working on environmental sustainability. Matthew has worked with various boutique consultancies and spent eight years at the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD) – where he led projects on the transition to sustainable and healthy food systems, and on the dependence of the pharmaceutical sector on nature. Matthew also has experience in private finance, where he developed the Lombard Odier Roadmap for Sustainable & Healthy Food Systems – an examination of the key transformations necessary for sustainable and nutritious future diets. Matthew joins the World Economic Forum in the role of Lead: Climate & Health.
