David Beckham is recognized for his commitment to improving children’s lives worldwide. As a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador, he has visited crisis-hit areas to advocate for vulnerable children. Through his 7: The David Beckham UNICEF Fund, he has raised millions to support children’s health, protection, and rights. Beckham is also a vocal advocate for malaria prevention and the power of sport as a tool for social change.
Fashion designer Diane von Furstenberg is honored for her dedication to women’s empowerment. Her philanthropy, mentorship, and advocacy work include partnerships with the International Rescue Committee and Vital Voices. As chairwoman of the Council of Fashion Designers of America, she has promoted diversity and sustainability. Von Furstenberg’s DVF Awards celebrate women transforming lives through leadership and innovation.
Japanese architect Riken Yamamoto is recognized for his innovative designs and commitment to community regeneration. His works, such as Hotakubo Housing and the Yokosuka Museum of Art, emphasize sustainability, human connection, and harmony with nature. Following the 2011 Great East Japan Earthquake, Yamamoto founded the Local Area Republic Lab, using architecture to help communities rebuild. In 2024, he was awarded the Pritzker Prize for his profound contributions to humanity.
