Scotland is testing 5G robots to revolutionize farms

Robots are seen as a way to help rural farmers. Traditional farming methods often treat whole fields in a uniform fashion. Robots, however, can work with plant-by-plant precision, applying fertilizer or pesticide, monitoring soil and plant health and helping farmers to make informed decisions based on up-to-the-minute data. The result? Improved yields, greater efficiency and less waste.
