Batteries are powering the energy transition but right now, they’re expensive. Sylvatex is tackling a major bottleneck in battery manufacturing, the cathode active material. Cathodes are by far the most expensive part of the battery to make, accounting for more than 60% of the cost. They have the largest environmental footprint, too. Now Sylvatex has invented a new, greener process for making cathodes.
