The world’s largest carbon removal plant is being built in the US

Project Bison in Wyoming is due for completion by 2030. By then, it will remove 5 million tonnes of CO2 from the atmosphere every year and store it deep underground permanently. The plant uses direct air capture (DAC), a promising carbon removal technology but how does it work?
