This start-up is using seaweed to clean up shrimp farming

Vietnam is the world’s second-largest supplier of shrimp but its industry is inefficient and highly polluting. Shrimp-farming generally has a large carbon footprint. Producing 1kg of shrimp generates around 15kg of CO2 emissions. Rongbient is tackling these problem by combining the power of seaweed and biotechnology.
