5 ways virtual and augmented reality is changing our lives

A visitor tastes food us technology, Tasteworks places the subject ing Tasteworks technology, a Virtual Reality experience created by Dan Garrett and Alex Kitching of the Royal College of Art and Imperial College London that augments and stimulates taste, during a design competition showcase of wearable technology at the Augmented Human International Conference in Singapore March 10, 2015. The conference runs from March 9 to 11. Tasteworks was developed from a study of dementia patients' communication difficulties. Such patients with deteriorating recognition capabilities may find eating stressful and unenjoyable.
