This Scientist Is Cleaning Up Peru’s Wetlands With Nano-Bubbles

While half the world’s wetlands have been lost since 1900, scientist Marino Morikawa invented the ground-breaking nanobubbles technology to clean wetlands. He tested his creations on El Cascajo wetlands near Lima, Peru. Marino uses nanobubbles that are 1000 times smaller than the bubbles in a fizzy drink to transform polluted swamps into flourishing hotbeds of biodiversity in a matter of days.
