Oil and Gas - Independents

The Oil and Gas Industry Community is composed of three sub-communities that regroup independent producers, majors and oil field services companies, and plays a pivotal role in advancing the sectoral transformation agenda that ensures the delivery of secure, affordable and sustainable energy.

By convening executives from the industry, the community is the hub for transformational industry dialogue among peers, facilitating the exchange of ideas, best practices, and cutting-edge insights.

Members of the Oil and Gas Industry community actively partner to shape the future of sector, foster innovation and new business practices, and inform new policymaking.

The industry community has defined the following strategic priorities for the year ahead:

  • The role of oil and gas in the energy transition debate

  • Scaling up low carbon technologies and alternative fuels
