Employers can’t find enough workers with these skills

‘Maker skills’ are the engine of the global economy.  These core practical abilities - in construction, operation and resources handling - account for almost half of employment worldwide.  But demand is running way ahead of supply, which means in many regions there’s a shortage of people with these skills. In the US, people with maker skills are doing five times as much overtime as other workers, on average.
