Gim Huay Neo

Managing Director, World Economic Forum

Neo Gim Huay is Managing Director and Member of the Managing Board at the World Economic Forum. She also serves as Chair of Greater China and oversees the Centre for Energy and Materials and the Forum’s Asia Strategy.

Before joining the Forum, Gim Huay held various managing director roles at Temasek International, namely climate change strategy, sustainability and enterprise development. She previously worked as a management consultant at McKinsey & Co in the Lagos, New York and San Francisco offices, and served as an administrative officer in the Singapore public service, with positions in the Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Trade and Industry, the Prime Minister’s Office and the Singapore Embassy in the United States.

Gim Huay holds an MBA from Stanford University, graduating as an Arjay Miller Scholar. She also holds a Master of Engineering (Distinction) and BA (First Class Honors) from the University of Cambridge. She was selected as an Eisenhower Fellow in 2015 and TIME100 Climate Leader in 2023.
