Barcelona has opened ‘climate shelters’ where people can escape the heat

227 municipal, air-conditioned buildings have opened their doors from libraries to schools, museums and sports centres. The buildings are all fully accessible and offer drinking water and a cool place to relax. The buildings are all still functioning as normal but passers-by can enter for a break
