This landmark in Switzerland is being slowly submerged in plastic

Global leaders have been meeting in Geneva to negotiate the world’s first treaty to tackle plastic pollution. Many of them have walked past this sculpture every day including Inger Anderson, Under-Secretary-General of the UN. As diplomats debate the future of plastic, this sculpture asks a human question: How much longer can we carry this burden?
