OCEANIUM Turns Seaweed Into Food, Cosmetics And Innovative Materials

OCEANIUM processes sustainably farmed seaweed to produce novel ingredients such as fiber and protein, as well as ingredients for health and cosmetics and innovative materials for textiles and packaging. OCEANIUM is using its biorefinery technology to support the seaweed farming industry as the market for food alternatives grows in size. Seaweed is a nutrient-rich food source that doesn’t need land, fresh water, insecticide, or fertilizer to grow. Seaweed farming increases biodiversity by protecting nursery grounds and seabeds and creates job opportunities along coastal regions.
