We’re looking for investors driving the nature-positive transition

This video is part of: Centre for Nature and Climate

UpLink’s Nature Returns Investor Challenge is seeking early-stage investors focused on nature, food and water to drive a nature-positive economic transition.

More than half of global GDP depends on natural resources, making the global economy highly vulnerable to nature loss. But by shifting the view of nature from a cost to a source of value and resilience, investors can open doors to new opportunities.

A $10 trillion opportunity for investors

A nature-positive economy could unlock over $10 trillion in additional annual business value by 2030. Meanwhile, water security investments alone are expected to exceed $13 trillion in the next decade.

Closing the nature finance gap through innovation

A blend of private and public finance, innovative business models and technology will be critical to closing current funding gaps. UpLink is working with Mercuria and the Forum’s Centre for Nature and Climate to build a global innovation ecosystem.

Join the Nature Returns Investor Challenge

UpLink’s Nature Returns Investor Challenge aims to find early-stage investors committed to restoring natural capital. The challenge invites submissions across three profiles: Emerging Edge, Beyond Barriers, and Eco Excellence.

Selected investors will join UpLink’s global community of top investors, working together to reshape markets and allocate capital for a net-zero, nature-positive future.
