These 3 companies are powering the shift to zero-emission shipping fuels

99% of cargo ships are powered by oil-based fuels. The shipping sector generates almost 3% of global CO2 emissions as a result. Switching from oil to hydrogen-derived fuels is one of the best ways to cut these emissions. Hydrogen produced with renewable energy can be synthesized into green shipping fuels such as green ammonia and e-methanol.
