Here’s How Treeswift Drones Perform Check-ups On Trees

Treeswift’s drones fly through forests scanning individual trees with cameras and sensors. The technology can identify different species, gauge tree health, and measure everything from tree size to timber quality and quantity. The company can also fit its tech onto backpacks for gathering data in dense forests where drones can’t fly. Treeswift then employs AI to process and analyze this data, generating carbon and timber inventories for entire forests. At the same time, Treeswift drone collected data can also be harnessed by the forestry industry for sustainable management by giving foresters the information they need on which trees to keep and which to fell.
