GAEA (Global Accelerator for Earth Action)

GAEA offers the Forum an opportunity to convene private capital providers committed to deploying their resources for climate and nature impact. These catalytic actors include select philanthropists, institutional foundations, ultra-high-net-worth individuals, family offices, investment arms of family businesses and impact-focused investors.

By aligning financial resources, convening power, influence and networks behind high-leverage transformational action, GAEA catalyses partnerships that shift market dynamics and generate multiplier effects for climate- and nature-positive solutions across energy, forests, food and water, oceans and other critical systems.

Since its launch in 2024, GAEA has established a strong foundation by building an engaged community, hosting 50+ meetings, generating thought leadership, and incubating Big Bets and Awards that help identify, connect and elevate promising models for impact.

This foundation creates an opportunity to take GAEA into its next phase at a moment when climate and nature challenges are becoming more urgent, global financing systems are becoming more fragmented, and a new generation of philanthropic and impact-oriented capital is seeking credible pathways to drive systemic change.

This is further reflected in GAEA’s role as one of three cross-cutting priorities within the Centre for Nature and Climate, engaging catalytic actors across nature, climate, food, water, energy transition, and other related agendas.
